Danger Death Ray is playing shows again...

Hey y'all,

We're transplants from Juneau, AK, and have been in Portland, officially since March. 

I've been told we sound like Lifetime, Elvis Costello, Jawbreaker, The Scaries, Mineral, ALL, Husker Du and Saves the Day.  Somewhere in there.

Danger Death Ray! Good dudes and can you believe they are from AK? These guys put on basement shows in SE Portland (atTHE ZOMBIE HOUSE) for local and touring bands. Now that's rad!

SASTM was recorded in 2 days at Haywire Studios with Robert Bartleson (Audio Learning Center, Pink Martini, Wilco).  It was also mixed and mastered by Robert Bartleson and produced by Danger Death Ray.

For now the EP is digital only, but we'll shortly be releasing a physical copy on the co-op label North by Northwest Records.

Also, be on the lookout for a 7 inch in March with dazzling sweethearts: Know Your Saints, Breaker Breaker One Niner and Tuck & Roll...again on North by Northwest Records.

We'll be playing long weekends in January, February and March in support of the new EP.  Hope to see you soon!

Hey, to anyone who is interested...

We've got a couple of split 7 inch records coming out this fall (too bad we broke up, eh!).

October 8 we're having a record release party at the Sea Shanty.

By the way, Davey has a new project going: daveydeathray.bandcamp.com

So do I: confederacyofdunces.bandcamp.com and we'll be playing at the Galway on Friday September 24th with our homies Tuck and Roll, Jefferson Death Star and Steel Horse.

We initially formed in August 2009 and began writing music as a four-piece. After a long time searching for the right front person, Sean joined the band in February 2010 to fill the slot. We all come from backgrounds of rock, DIY punk and hardcore and have all played many shows and toured in previous bands, including Anchor Down, Knifetalk, Auralust, and The Knifeswitch. We are excited to finally have this band up and running and, as Willie said, we just can't wait to get on the road again.
