So you have an event you want to post on here...this is the method for doing it:

1) click CALENDAR in the toolbar at the top
2) click POST EVENT on the bottom right
3) choose an event title. this should probably be the name of the headlining and maybe main support bands and the venue name. dont worry about posting what city the show is in in this line because it is limited characters.
4) choose a subject line, but start it out by saying what city it is in. For example:

"PDX: Anchor Down, Drunken Boat, Neckties Make Me Nervous @ The Coop (3.3.2009)"
or
"SEA: Dateless, Smokejumper, Nirvana @ King Cobra (6.27.2009)"

5) put the date info in and make sure that it is set to post it in the "Concert & Event Calendar" topic
6) include an informative message with as much info as possible.

IT'S THAT EASY!

Once you do this...it will show up in the topic for Concerts & Events AND in the general calendar.
