That there is proof that just because you have a member of ...Is Electric in your band doesn't mean you're good by any stretch of the imagination!
I see what you're saying now.

We're playing our first out of town show, since like 2003 or something, in Bremerton at the AFU Hall on Friday Sept. 25th. We're stoked!

Holy hiatus! It seems like I haven't been on here forever! Just wanted everyone who cares to know that The Lolligaggers are in full swing this holiday season. We still have some shirts for sale. Only 10 bones. Send me a personal message on here if you want to get one. We still have sizes M-XL available. Also, we're finally almost done with mixing for our long awaited "Mill Town Punk" 7". We're going back in to the studio in the next couple weeks to redo some vocals and a guitar part. The things basically mixed and ready to go. We just need to do some touch ups. Look for the record to come out late Feb. to mid March of 2010. It's been a year in the making, but it'll be worth it. Also, we will be hitting the studio again soon to record another three songs for an upcoming 7" and a Jimmies cover for an upcoming Jimmies tribute comp. The songs for the 7" will be:

Tonight, Tonight
I Blew Up the Moon (For You)
Baby Baby Baby Baby Baby Baby Baby (I Love You) - Sweet Baby cover

The Jimmies song is 65 Miles

Finally, The Lolligaggers have written a Christmas song to commemorate the holidays. It's called "A Lolligagger Christmas" and is basically our reworking of "A Holly Jolly Christmas" with our own lyrics and whatnot. We're hitting the studio next Tuesday to record it and we should have it available as a 99 cent download on our myspace site in the next couple weeks. Just in time for Christmas!

Wheeeeeewwww. That's it for now. We're gonna be on some upcoming comps. I'll post what they are, when they'll be available, and how to get 'em when I get more info.

Anybody miss us? Got a new computer and was neglecting my nwpunkboard duties for a while. Haha. We're still working on our "Mill Town Punk" 7". Mixing and remixing. Polishing a turd basically. It WILL see the light of day. Tax returns are coming up after all. We also are getting ready to record a split 7" with our good buddies 48 Thrills. Each band will contribute one original, one cover, and one cover of the other bands' songs. We're doing our timeless classic "Batman Is A Queer", "The Girl Next Door" (Screeching Weasel), and "Don't Wake Up" (48 Thrills). I believe 48 thrills will be covering "Panhandler's Lament" (The Lolligaggers) and "Fat Bottom Girls" (Queen). Not sure what original yet. After that we're doing another 7". 4 songs. Two originals. Two covers. We've also got some shows in the pan heatin' up to. Boo-yah tango!

Just got done listening to the rough mixes of our songs that will be on an upcoming split 7" with 48 Thrills. They sound amazingly good for a quick first mix. Each band is doing three songs ( 1 original, 1 cover of the other bands', and 1 other cover). We chose "Batman Is A Queer" (original), "Don't Wake Up" (48 Thrills), and "The Girl Next Door" (Screeching Weasel). Not sure which songs 48 Thrills are doing, but I heard they are most likely covering our song "Panhandler's Lament" and "Fat Bottomed Girls" by Queen. If you haven't seen 48 Thrills' live version of "Fat Bottomed Girls" you're really missing out. I can't wait to hear the recording.

The 7" should be out sometime in the fall, but who knows? It all comes down to whether or not we have the funds. We'll be taking our traveling circus on the road once we get the 7". That means a possible mini NW tour this fall/winter with 48 Thrills, or maybe just frequent weekend stops to different towns.

We finally have a bandcamp page where people can download songs and what not. We only have a few things up right now, but we'll be updating frequently. New beer koozies and t-shirts coming soon as well. Check it out if you want.
