The Cretin Hop in Spokane

Holy shit, The Cretin Hop in Spokane were some of the nicest club owners/bookers my band has ever dealt with.  They have punk shows almost every night of the week and sell tall boys of PBR.  There are actually kids who just show up because a show is going on, its been a while since Ive seen that kind of foot traffic.  Local punk bands were young but talented!

I highly suggest all bands try to go through and play there!

Played there on our Out The Lights/Tonight We Ride tour.  It was by far my favorite venue!

we're playing there the day before my birthday and I'm totally stoked about it. :)  some huge punk festival or something... can't wait!

The Teenage Bottlerocket Cobra Skulls show was awesome! Except for the Neutralboy drama. Hope there drummer has recovered. I can't wait to see what other good shows are coming up.

By the way this venue is no more as of now.  TC says he will be reopening but without his partner so we'll see what happens.

If you're on the weekend do the A-Club.  Or if you guys really want to play someplace cool though try the baby-bar. I highly suggest trying to do a show with Whiskey Dick Mountain (by far the best band in Spokane).  I'm pretty sure they would book Smokejumper for a return favor in Seattle.

There are still great places to play but the all-ages scene basicly has vanished.

Hey, The Cretin Hop will be re-opening on Febuary 17th! There's a grand opening week with shows on the 17th, 18th, and 19th. New location is at 706 N. Monroe St.!

yeah, they're called THE HOP now.  New location, sweet spot.  Same old Spokane attitude!
