Last night I just came across my copy of 10 Things which The Mighty Mighty Bosstones signed when I met them @ DV8. Funny thing, I don't usually hunt down autographs from bands I hang out with but I was just starting to date this gal that was obsessed with 'em. This was shortly after I walked in on all of 'em butt-naked as the beer cooler was in the locker room downstairs. Doh! I can't unsee that! But yeah... still have it cuz the gal flaked on me shortly thereafter.

That was the night I got to see exactly how big a douche that Rob Chaos (Total Chaos) really is, and how fucking cool Joey from the Voodoo Glow Skulls was.

Were the Lunachicks on that bill? I remember interviewing them downstairs at Oz one time and Total Chaos was there and that Rob dude was acting all snobby, then practically begged me to interview his band five minutes later when he found out I did a big punk zine and was interviewing the Lunachicks. I wanted to say "I'll run ads for your band that Epitaph pays for, but I'm not gonna feature you in my zine" but wasn't feeling ballsy enough.  The VGS guys were super nice and funny the two times I hung out with them.

I don't think they were. I think the bill was just Total Chaos, Voodoo Glow Skulls and Mighty Mighty Bosstones. I believe Lunachicks came later that year with Texass and Rancid.

Shit, really? That's my wife's family, Ben's her cousin.  I love Ben, great guy, I used to bring down zines and CDs to give to him when he started getting into punk rock as a kid to encourage it. He used to always grab a few extra for his friends... apparently that meant you.  I'm heading to Trout Lake next weekend for the Trout Lake fair and family reunion, I do it every summer. Camp, get drunk, sit around the campfire, run around in the woods, watch the horrible small town parade with about 100 of those folks.
